Yakal at last! After a long and tiring week of enlistment and enrollment, I finally made it to Yakal. Despite the change of dormitory (from Centennial Dormitory I) scenery, I find it more homey here. Even though this new dorm is old and not that well-furnished (since it was completed way before), I liked it much better here since it is accessible and cheap! Although new, I look forward to meeting a lot of people and build new friendship.

I spent my first night here with only one of my roommate named Marvin. He is taking up BS Chemical Engineering. But we do not talk that much. I was too shy to initiate conversation. Mehehehe. Anyway, I hope my stay here will be fun and worthwhile. :)

Yakal Residence Hall is one of the dormitory inside the University of the Philippines Diliman that is managed and maintain by the Office of Student Housing. Dated back in 1962, the dormitory is one of the oldest in the campus. It is located at A. Roces Sr. Street corner Magsaysay Ave., UP Diliman, Quezon City. Today, it houses more than 500 male residents.
